And that's exactly what the legislature did today: Gaveled in long enough to set the veto override vote for this Wednesday. A 3/4 vote to overturn seems like a tall order, but I think they will do the right thing and vote to save Alaska. It will still be painful but not devastating. Vetoes stand, and it's the end of Alaska as we know it. And that's not a good thing for the majority of us. There's still time to contact our legislatures and let them know you stand for Alaska!
