He was all alone in the world. None of the other Peonies showed up this year, and the lonely Peony thought: Is it me? Nobody likes me. Boo Hoo.
And trust me on this, there are few things sadder than a lonely Peony, wearing it's heart on a petal and just feeling sorry for itself, so Rocky gave it love...and the lady who lives there added some fertilizer to all the alleged Peony plants, including the lonely Peony...
Still a bit early to call it a happy ending or a dark tragedy, but right now it's still looking lonely so I'm leaning to the latter.
