The too-cute-for-words photo was taken in the garden at Clarence House, following Prince Louis' baptism last week at the Chapel Royal, St. James’s Palace, and was released by the palace on Twitter and Instagram.
“The Duke and Duchess hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do,” the palace tweeted, along with the image in which mom Kate looks stunning and literally glows.
The image comes after three other official pics by photographer Matt Holyoak were released by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to mark Prince Louis’ christening.
According to royal reporter Rebecca English, the adorable laughing picture was taken by Matt Porteous, who was "at the christening as a 'private' photographer, taking pictures for the family’s personal album. But William and Kate liked this shot of Louis so much that they decided to release it publicly."
Duchess Kate and Prince William welcomed their third child in April. They’re also parents to Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3.
Princess Charlotte showed off her sassy side at Prince Louis’ baptism, telling photographers in a video that has since gone viral they weren’t invited inside. In the clip, the adorable little girl can be seen telling a photog “you’re not coming” while making her way into the church. Princess Charlotte, who is fourth in line to the throne, is a protective big sister, according to reports.
“Charlotte is really enjoying having a younger brother to play with. She’s taking her big sister duties very seriously,” Us Weekly reports. “She won’t leave baby Louis’ side.”
