Tom Brady Is Now The NFL's All-Time Passing Touchdown Leader

Tampa Bay v Las Vegas Raiders

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady moved ahead of Drew Brees for the most touchdown passes in NFL history. Brady threw four touchdown passes in a 45-20 blowout win over the Las Vegas Raiders, giving him 559 career touchdown passes.

Brees had a three-touchdown lead over Brady after throwing for a pair of touchdowns in a 27-24 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Brady tied Brees as the Bucs offense torched the Raiders defense late in the game. Brady threw his 558 career touchdown to Chris Godwin in the fourth quarter, extending the Bucs lead to 31-20. Brady passed Brees by finding Tyler Johnson in the back of the end zone on a third-and-goal with 3:13 remaining, giving the Bucs a 45-20 lead.

Brady finished the day going 33/45 for 369 yards and four touchdowns. He also added a running touchdown. The former New England Patriots signal-caller is enjoying his time in Tampa Bay. He has thrown for 18 touchdowns in the first seven games of the season, leading the Bucs to a 5-2 record, which puts them in first place in the NFC South.

Brees will look to take the record back when the New Orleans Saints take on the Chicago Bears this Sunday. If Brees passes Brady, he will have a chance to reclaim the record on Monday night, when the Bucs face off against the New York Giants.
