That was a funny story I can share another time. Anyhow today is the day that is celebrated "to commemorate the Mexican Army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla" (yay wikipedia). Today is often confused with Mexican Independence Day, which is incorrect. As you are celebrating at our many fine Mexican food establishments today-please don't drink and drive!!
