It's actually a fun 5K up at UAF. If you can beat the Beethoven song, you'll score a ticket for the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra's 2019-2020 season. I believe it's like 31 minutes long but keep in mind a 5K is like 32.7 miles . . . something like that. Look I don't know the metric system that well and I still can't figure out why we use it for these races, but 5 is my favorite number so let's "run" with that! Or walk with that as the case may be. And if you don't want to actually do the race, you can still get involved by joining us on our "Beethoven Blast" where we line our cars up and play us some Beethoven for the participants!!
