It's our chance to possibly discuss the recent vetoes and the horrible impacts this could have on our community and our state. If you love Alaska, or at least care about people, you should come tonight or support in some way. Write your politicians-and I made it easy with a link to our Chamber's website. Help us save the University of Alaska! Get the facts-and know that this will affect a lot more than just staff, faculty and students at UAF. This certainly could have major implications for each and every one of us, and we will all feel it for sure. And I fear a lot of great people will leave our state. And think about what education means to all of . . . don't let them "dummy us down". Please get involved and help restore some sanity. Hey. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but I know in my heart what is right. And these line item vetoes are not right-for any of us. I'm following my heart.
