As we continue our "Celebration of Seniors" I would like to take a moment to recognize our freaking awesome Eielson Ravens and the amazing Ben Eielson High School Class of 2020. Thanks for being such a good representation of our future. I am sorry that you may not get the "normal fanfare" that might be associated with a traditional graduation, but in some ways this might be even more special? I'm pretty sure this is a year you won't ever forget, and I believe it will help make us better prepared to face whatever lies ahead...and I feel a lot of good things are in store for you! So here's a virtual "Eielson High Five" from one BEHS grad to another. Remember-once a Raven, always a Raven...unless it's the Baltimore Ravens-that's just wrong!
We wish you the best in whatever you do in life...which I know right now may be just wanting to get the heck out of the house and do something-anything!! I believe Kelly Clarkson may have said it best in her song: What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Stand a little taller... doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone ...
Now don't get all teary-eyed on me. Remember you're never alone...and even if you are it doesn't mean you're lonely, cause Kelly Clarkson said it was not so. I was only going to use that first line but then I got to singing and next thing I know I totally forgot what I was supposed to be doing....
Okay now let's virtually party!!! Congratulations!!!
