Okay so I cheated on the biscuits, using a can of them instead of making from scratch, but that is what the recipe called for...in any case they turned out fantastically delicious!! And I think next time I will make them from Bisquick... we'll see! And it is so easy to make I actually memorized the recipe:
Rocky's No Hassle Biscuits and Gravy Recipe
1/2 cup flour
8 oz sausage (the kind in the roll tube-you'll use 1/2 of that so with one pack you can this for 2 days!)
2 and 1/2 cups milk
Some salt and pepper to taste (I used very little of each)
Some biscuits-whether you make from scratch or use the can like I did is totally up to you, but I think the fresher the better!
Crumble the sausage as you fry it,. When that's done sprinkle in the flour, then slowly add the milk and stir a lot. I cooked it on medium heat for a few minutes. It should should thicken a bit and get those nice bubbles.
Eat like right away!

In fact, there's a bajillion recipes out there-take it and make it your own! I had no idea it was this easy to make something so delicious!
