No kidding! A few months ago, our company offered up the opportunity for employees to get a free iHeart t-shirt. I've wanted one for a while of course, but never realized how big the moment would become! Months later the shirt arrived in the mail. Eagerly, I opened the package to check it out. As I was marveling the beauty, I noticed a stain...and then another...and then it hit me! Some folks might be angry or upset that their "brand new": shirt arrived with stains, but not this guy! I recognized the brilliance...and how well the company really knows me. iHeart KNEW that I would eventually stain the shirt, be disappointed, and probably not wear again out of shame. So they decided to send the shirt pre-stained, understanding that if folks would pay more for a ripped pair of jeans than the un-ripped ones, and thus capitalizing on the latest marketing trend. Sheer Genius!!!! And knowing that not everyone would appreciate the idea, these "specially marked" Beta test shirts were sent to a select few-employees who get it, and would embrace the stains and wear them proudly for all to see!
