As part of the Stay Home Box Office initiative during the coronavirus pandemic, HBO is releasing 500 hours of free programming. Starting today, you can use HBO Now and HBO Go services without a subscription. This means you can watch every episode of The Sopranos, Veep, Silicon Valley, and more! Plus, you'll be able to stream 20 Warner Bros. movies including Pokémon Detective Pikachu, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, and Crazy, Stupid, Love. This move to release all of this original content is to get ready for the launch of HBO Max in May. HBO Max will include everything on HBO, plus originals for $14.99 a month.
You'll be able to stream without a subscription by downloading the HBO Now or HBO Go apps (or by visiting hbonow.com or hbogo.com). Here's the full list of all of the movies and TV shows you can watch for free right now on HBO Now and HBO Go:
