Disney On Broadway's 25th Anniversary Show Will Be Streamed To Raise Money!

According to ABC affiliates, but not yet confirmed, Disney will stream the one-night-only benefit "Celebrating 25 Magical Years of Disney on Broadway" to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund. The foundation, will help members of the theatre community who are impacted by pandemic. The livestream will be on Monday, April 13th at 4pm PT and Ryan McCartan will host it from his family's basement. Throughout the evening, he will remotely interview Disney on Broadway stars from their homes. Donations can be made at broadwaycare.org/help2020.

Celebrating 25 Magical Years of Disney on Broadway was originally held last year on November 4, 2019 and it raised $570,426 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. It includes performances from Jelani Alladin, Sierra Boggess, Christian Borle, and more. There's also performances from members of the Broadway and touring companies of Newsies and Broadway Inspirational Voices.
