Every year, Chipotle has their Boorito promotion where you get discounted entrees when you wear a costume. This year marks the 20th anniversary of its Boorito promotion and due to the coronavirus pandemic, it's going digital. The chain will give away half a million buy-one-get-one entrée codes via TikTok, Twitter and Instagram from October 29th to October 31st. In order to claim the BOGO, people will have to text the keyword to 888-222 before supply runs out. Once you get your code, the BOGO will only be redeemable via the Chipotle app or their website on Halloween day. According to Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Brandt,
“Over the years, BOOrito has become a mainstay for Chipotle and while we can’t have our usual in-person event, canceling completely was never an option for us. This year, we’ve introduced a virtual BOOrito to help our fans celebrate and enjoy our real food from anywhere this Halloween.”
